Kent McDermott, MAOL
Continuum of Care Coordinator
Spero Family Services
Kent McDermott has a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership. He has been working with youth in residential treatment for over 21 years. Kent’s first job started in direct care with youth. He is also the lead instructor for Therapeutic Crisis Intervention at Spero Family Services. Before becoming a TCI instructor, Kent previously trained staff in the Non-violent Crisis Intervention Model. Kent’s knowledge and experience in his field is an asset to anyone who works with at-risk youth. One of the main goals in his crisis training is to equip adults with the tools needed to help youth be successful in managing their triggers and emotional responses during times of crisis.
