Clinical Director of Community Services

Spero Family Services

I am the Clinical Director of Community Services at Spero, where I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals and families in their mental health journeys. I began my journey with Spero in 2023 as an intern, transitioned to a full-time therapist in 2024, and proudly accepted the role of Clinical Director in 2025. I hold a Bachelor’s in Behavioral Health and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from Missouri Baptist University. Additionally, I earned Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees with a strong emphasis on psychology/criminal justice/business from Rend Lake College. Currently, I am enrolled in a doctoral program through Capella University, further enhancing my expertise in the field.

With over 6 years of experience in the social services field, I have worked extensively in mental health counseling and nursing home social work. My training includes specialized techniques such as play therapy, sand tray therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and grief counseling. I have had the privilege of working with clients of all ages, starting from the age of 7. My passion for social services and counseling stems from a deep commitment to helping others navigate trauma and validating their feelings. I strive to create a supportive environment for my team while sharing insights from my experiences to foster growth and development.
